47 Years Later & "The Phone Call"

Today we are releasing a special blog post to commemorate a tragic event in our land.
Truly, it is a somber day in the history of the United States.
For 47 years ago, seven people decided our nation was okay with the destruction of innocent human life in the womb.
While it is certainly a day where we mourn the lives lost to this horrific evil, it is also a day of hope as we know there is no evil too great for our God to overcome.
It is a day we proclaim the truth of the horrors of abortion, but also proclaim the love and forgiveness of Christ that is sufficient to cover any sin, even abortion.
Yes, it is a day of great darkness, but the light of the gospel can pierce even the darkest of nights.
So today, we here at BOJF renew our commitment to continue to fight for the dignity and protection of all human life, from conception to natural death.
We look to God for forgiveness of our nation's great sin and pray He does not treat us as our sins deserve. We pray that He would open blind eyes to truth and that not only would abortion become illegal in this land, but also unthinkable.
May we keep our eyes on God Almighty, pressing forward in the truth for His glory.
We are also highlighting our film, "The Phone Call" below.
"United States of America, you have one new voicemail…"
From Because of Jesus Films comes a pro-life short dealing with the difficult nature of abortion. Handling the subject truthfully, yet with grace and love, this film is a great conversation starter regarding this cultural hot topic.
